Return trips to recently experienced golf courses are not the norm, but neither is the restoration of the West Course carried out by Fry/Straka Global Golf Course Design at Belleair Country Club in FL. The membership of Belleair CC committed to an exemplary level of research-driven restoration, based on actual Ross drawings. The project was anchored by authentic, and sometimes controversial, architectural provenance. The restoration was excellently executed by Jason Straka and this is a fortuitous time for the Donald Ross Society to experience the course that has been transformed from the enjoyable, to the spectacular!
